The used Saab 900 was produced in two generations, the first one is the” classic” used Saab 900, which was in production from 1978 to 1993. And“ the new generation” followed and was in production until 1998 when the Saab 9-3 saw its market roll-out.
The used Saab 900 in general is in many ways a fairly unique car as it has many features and modifications that are not found in most other cars. On the technical side, the engine is installed somewhat' backwards', with power delivered from the crank at the front of the car. The styling of the used Saab 900 is rather conventional, yet quite attractive. The interior of the machine shows some similarity to plane cabin, which is quite nice and interesting with high levels of comfort in place. The road performance of the used Saab 900 is just fine. Both handling and steering are at a good level even though one needs some time to get used to driving this car. Despite having engines of high capacities under the bonnet, the fuel economy seems decent and the used Saab 900 may be seen as a reliable family car. All in all, the used Saab 900 is a special kind of car one needs to get used to, but after that, it is a brilliant machine.
